A right for everyone
There are basic things in life that we consider essential. Having these essentials easily available can make us forget how important it is for many others. For 1.8 billion people, access to safe drinking water is still not an easily acquired commodity. Women and children spend more than four hours walking for water each day. Some 2.4 billion people lack the adequate sanitation most of us enjoy. That's one in three people. The water crisis affects us all, in more ways than we know , and it won't change unless we choose to help change it.
Water For People want to see communities break free from the cycle of poverty and spend time growing, learning, and thriving. We envision a world where every person has access to reliable and safe drinking water and sanitation. A basic need shared by everyone, for everyone.
